Mission: Camp Newaygo fosters discovery, creativity, and collaboration within communities, groups & individuals in natural environments.

Camp Newaygo, established in 1926, is a year-round independent nonprofit located on 104 scenic acres in the Manistee National Forest region of Michigan. As a program of TrueNorth Community Services, we are dedicated to providing meaningful experiences through our Girls’ Overnight Camp, innovative family programs, community events, and year-round rentals. Our facilities and programs are proudly accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and the State of Michigan, ensuring the highest standards of safety, program quality, and operations.

Camp Newaygo offers a wide range of enriching experiences for individuals and families throughout the year. Our summer programs, including the renowned Girls’ Overnight Camp, provide opportunities for growth, independence, and the creation of lifelong friendships. Beyond summer, we host year-round rentals for conferences, retreats, and personal events, all set on our beautiful 104-acre property in the Manistee National Forest region. Through community events and innovative family programs, we foster connection, exploration, and personal development in a safe and welcoming environment.
