The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) administers dozens of programs to improve the health, safety and prosperity of state residents. MDHHS works hand-in-hand with hundreds of partners at the local and regional levels to provide these needed services.
We offer a number of programs to help you and your family with temporary assistance when times are tough. We improve the quality of life in Michigan by providing services to vulnerable children and adults that will strengthen the community and enable families and individuals to move toward independence.
