Who We Are
Mission: To equip, educate, and advocate for accessible communities for all.
Disability Network West Michigan is committed to accessibility, inclusion, and diversity while being consumer directed and accountable. We promote accessible communities, fulfilling our vision of ensuring that accessibility will be an accepted civil right.
Founded in 1999 and rooted in Muskegon, our organization has grown from the Disability Awareness Council and Disability Connection into a driving force for accessible living. We offer guidance and support, alongside accessibility consulting, to advocate for meaningful employment and inclusive environments. Our team is made up of individuals with disabilities, who bring their personal insights and experiences to support and empower others within the disabled community.
We provide services and resources for people with disabilities in Muskegon, Oceana, Newaygo, Lake, and Mason Counties.
