Who We Are
Mission: To create a food system that upholds the fundamental right to healthy, fresh, and sustainably grown food.
The Fair Food Network is a national nonprofit organization that focuses on creating a more equitable and sustainable food system. Their mission is to increase access to healthy, locally grown food while supporting local farmers and stimulating economic growth in underserved communities.
What We Do
One of our flagship programs is Double Up Food Bucks, which matches the value of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits when spent on fruits and vegetables at participating farmers’ markets and grocery stores. This initiative promotes both healthy eating and local agriculture.
The Fair Food Network also works to drive policy change, build partnerships, and invest in innovative food systems solutions that prioritize economic justice, food security, and environmental sustainability.
