This season, United Way of the Lakeshore is partnering with several local agencies to provide meaningful ways for you to give back. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or looking for a new way to get involved, there are various projects available that can benefit from your unique talents and energy.

Muskegon Area Beautification Initiative Volunteer Clean Up | Thursday, October 10, 9 AM - 2 PM
- Volunteer with the Muskegon Area Beautification Initiative to assist with cleanup efforts along M-120 on Thursday, October 10th starting at 9 AM! Meet in the parking lot of Veteran's Memorial Park (near the fountain). Volunteer efforts will be focused near the Verplank Facility. Oceana County Mobile Food Pantry (Hart) | Friday, October 25, 5 PM
- Want to help nourish local families? Join Feeding America West MI, GHSP, and United Way at our Mobile Food Pantry in Hart, where we'll distribute over 10,000 lbs. of food to those in need. It only takes an hour of your time to make a huge impact. Help with intake, traffic, sorting, or distribution-you'll be part of providing essential food resources to nearly 200 families. Camp Newaygo Fall Volunteer Day | Friday, November 1, 8:30 AM - 4 PM
- Help prep the camp for winter by doing everything from splitting wood to cleaning garden beds and storing waterfront equipment. Rake A Difference Day | Saturday, November 2, 1 - 3 PM
- It's time to grab those rakes and make a real difference! On November 2, we're hosting our annual Rake A Difference Day, where volunteers come together to help senior neighbors with yard clean-up. It's a fun, family-friendly way to get outdoors, bond with coworkers, and give back to the community. We provide the supplies (or feel free to bring your favorite rake), and the schedule is flexible to fit your team's needs!
