As we welcome the fall season, we're eager to offer you new ways to get outside while you engage and give back to our community! This season, United Way of the Lakeshore is partnering with several local agencies to provide meaningful ways for you to give back. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or looking for a new way to get involved, there are various projects available that can benefit from your unique talents and energy.

Read on for details on how you can make a difference this fall!

Muskegon Area Beautification Initiative Volunteer Clean Up | Thursday, October 10, 9 AM - 2 PM

Oceana County Mobile Food Pantry (Hart) | Friday, October 25, 5 PM

Camp Newaygo Fall Volunteer Day | Friday, November 1, 8:30 AM - 4 PM

Rake A Difference Day | Saturday, November 2, 1 - 3 PM

  • It's time to grab those rakes and make a real difference! On November 2, we're hosting our annual Rake A Difference Day, where volunteers come together to help senior neighbors with yard clean-up. It's a fun, family-friendly way to get outdoors, bond with coworkers, and give back to the community. We provide the supplies (or feel free to bring your favorite rake), and the schedule is flexible to fit your team's needs! Sign yourself or your team up at https://volunteer.unitedwaylakeshore.org/need/detail/?need_id=994499.
