Volunteer Drivers Needed – Help Make Independence Possible

Do you enjoy driving and connecting with people? Volunteer Drivers are needed to help individuals with disabilities access critical services, medical appointments, community events, and local resources. This is a meaningful way to support independence and inclusion for people with disabilities in West Michigan.

Volunteers use their own vehicles to provide safe, timely, and respectful transportation. Drivers must be willing to assist passengers as needed and maintain a friendly, respectful attitude at all times.

Requirements:

Current driver’s license

Proof of insurance

Successful background check

Your time behind the wheel can open doors for someone in your community

Front Desk Volunteers – Be the First Smile They See

Front Desk Volunteers serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers at Disability Network West Michigan. This vital role helps create a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment for everyone who walks through our doors or calls our office.

Volunteers also provide light administrative support, which may include copying, filing, assembling folders, and other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Maintain confidentiality and follow agency protocols

Friendly, professional, and reliable

Prefer a commitment of at least 4 hours per week

Your presence at the front desk helps set the tone for an inclusive and supportive experience for our community.
