What You’ll Help With:

Unload event supplies from the trailer parked on Fourth Street Set up tables throughout the park using the provided site map Place trash and recycling bins in key locations Help make sure the park is guest-ready before gates open Close the fence before the 5:00 PM start of the party

Volunteer Details:

Arrival Time: 1:00 PM Best For: Team players, movers, organizers, and anyone who likes getting things done Activity Level: Moderate to active (lifting, walking, setting items in place)

Our ID Check Team plays an important role in helping Parties in the Park remain fun, organized, and responsible for everyone attending. You’ll greet guests, verify IDs, and help ensure those enjoying alcoholic beverages are properly wristbanded.

What You’ll Help With:

Check IDs for guests planning to consume alcoholic beverages Place wristbands on approved attendees Welcome guests with a positive and professional attitude Help communicate park entry guidelines when needed Alert your volunteer liaison or security team if any issues arise

Our Ticket Sales Team keeps the party moving by helping guests purchase the tickets they need for food and beverage service throughout the night. Stationed at the front entrances, you’ll be one of the first people guests meet and help set the tone for a great evening.

What You’ll Help With:

Sell event tickets to partygoers throughout the evening Encourage guests to purchase what they may need for the night Remind guests that tickets are valid for tonight’s party only Sell alcoholic beverage tickets to guests of legal age If age is in question, politely ask to see ID (guests should already have a wristband) Let guests know food and pop are available on a cash basis Help communicate that beverage ticket sales end at 9:00 PM

Our Beverage Server Team is one of the busiest and most important roles at Parties in the Park. You’ll work as a team to serve guests quickly, responsibly, and with great customer service while helping maintain a safe and fun environment for everyone.

What You’ll Help With:

Work in pairs, with one volunteer serving guests and one restocking coolers as needed Collect tickets and provide beverages efficiently Open all beverages before handing them to customers Check wrists for valid wristbands before serving alcoholic beverages If you question someone’s age, ask your captain for assistance and request ID when needed Help monitor for safe service practices throughout the shift Keep the serving area clean, organized, and stocked

Important Guidelines:

No drinking behind the serving area Do not serve anyone who appears obviously intoxicated Do not give samples or taste tests Do not tear tickets, as they may be reused during operations When in doubt, ask your captain or beverage distributor for support

Our Craft Beer Server Team serves guests who are excited to explore unique brews while enjoying a great night in the park. This role is perfect for volunteers who enjoy customer service, stay calm in a busy environment, and ideally have a little craft beer knowledge to help guests make selections.

What You’ll Help With:

Serve craft beer to guests in a friendly, efficient manner Pour beer into cups and hand cups to patrons Check wrists for valid wristbands before serving alcoholic beverages Ask for support from your captain if age is in question and request ID when needed Stock beer into ice carefully throughout the shift Monitor inventory and help reduce waste near the end of the night Keep the serving area clean, organized, and guest-ready

Helpful Knowledge:
Volunteers with an interest in or familiarity with craft beer can help answer basic questions and enhance the guest experience.

Our Trash Collector Team plays a huge role in keeping Parties in the Park clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. If you like staying active, helping behind the scenes, and making an immediate difference, this is a great fit.

Rove throughout the park collecting cups and litter from grass, tables, and vendor areas Empty recycling cans and place bags of cans in the designated beer truck on site Empty trash bins throughout the venue and replace liners Transport trash bags to the dumpster area Pick up trash and paper towels near restroom areas Check in with beverage stations and remove their trash as needed Help keep the park looking clean and guest-ready all evening long

Serve bottled water or water station beverages to guests Accept tickets or cash for purchases as directed Provide friendly, quick customer service Keep the tent area neat, clean, and welcoming Watch for litter or spills and help keep the space safe Help restock supplies as needed throughout the shift
