The AgeWell Services Senior Medical Transportation Program provides door-to-door, non-emergency medical transportation for low income Muskegon County seniors.

AgeWell Services Senior Transportation clients enjoy the friendly, personalized service they receive from the volunteers. A recent letter sent by a client reads in part “the people who schedule my transportation and the volunteer drivers are treasured friends. I’ve met so many wonderful, caring, and interesting people associated with your service.” She added, “I’m able to continue living independently thanks to all of you.”
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
AgeWell Services of West Michigan is in urgent need of continuous volunteer drivers for our Senior Transportation Program. The Senior Transportation Program is a staple of the Muskegon County community that provides no-cost, door-to-door non-emergency medical transportation for low-income adults 60 and older and disabled individuals in Muskegon County.
Volunteer drivers will use an AgeWell Services vehicle, located at Tanglewood Park (560 Seminole Rd, Muskegon, MI 49444). Additional details are below.
Available Days of the Week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Available Shifts: 8.30 - 12.30 p.m. and 12.30 - 4.30 p.m. (4 hour shifts)
Number of Volunteers: 20
Additional Requirements: Background checks and license verification required. Masks required inside the vehicle by both volunteer driver and rider.
