Dune Harbor Park Volunteer Days

Join Muskegon County Parks and the Muskegon Conservation District for a day of hands-on environmental restoration at Dune Harbor Park! These Friday volunteer opportunities are a great way to get outside, support local conservation, and help protect one of our community’s most beautiful natural areas.

Upcoming Volunteer Dates:

  • Friday, November 14 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    Help plant dune grass to stabilize the shoreline and promote healthy dune ecosystems.

  • Friday, November 21 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    Join in planting 3,500 native tree seedlings to restore natural habitat and improve biodiversity.

Location:
Meet at the Lincoln Street Parking Lot, 3071 Lincoln St., Norton Shores, MI 49441

Details:
Volunteers of all ages are welcome! All tools and materials will be provided. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes suitable for outdoor work. Bring water, gloves if you have them, and a positive attitude for a rewarding day outdoors.

About the Project:
These volunteer events are funded through the Consumers Foundation Planet Award Grant and are part of ongoing efforts to protect and restore the natural environment of Dune Harbor Park for future generations.
