What Is Rake A Difference?

Rake a Difference is a volunteer event through the United Way in honor of Make A Difference Day. For this event, groups will sign up to work at 1 of 5 homes (you can sign up individually too!) to rake a senior's yard in the Muskegon County area. Before winter hits, raking your yard is a vital step to ensuring spring snowmelt does not cause water damage to your home or lawn. Many area seniors try to accomplish this work on their own, putting them at risk for falls and serious injury.

Who Can Participate?

This event is great for all ages! Consider your family, your coworkers, youth groups, classrooms, or clubs as a possible way to bond together and do something great for those in your community!

Time Of Event:

The event starts at 10:00 AM on November 3rd! We will have rakes, gloves, and bags available for you on site!  

How Do I Know My Team Signed Up For The Correct Home?

Each of the homes is listed as "House X" just make sure you communicate which house number your group has chosen, or share the direct link to need you signed up for via email! Your home is located on 2504 Hoyt Street!
