As a team member of Love N Grace Healing Centers, we empower individuals to become independent and self-sufficient in life, work, and in society. 

Responsibilities:

Serve people from diverse social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. Positively represent Love N Grace to other team members, leadership, community, clients, and families. Use our program's manual, workbooks, and selected books for learning and teaching. Ability to serve in the main office, event sites, or at local offsite locations as indicated. Assist as asked by the encourager: documenting feelings - truth worksheet, consent forms, safety plan, scholarship forms, appointment records, greeting clients, completing scales, provide encourager with needed program worksheets, materials, and room preparation. Work directly with other team members, clients, schools, or donors (dependent on the role) May be asked to assist in scheduling of clients, team, and volunteers using the online calendar or Zoom. Attend training and team meetings. Assist with maintaining the client's schedule and calling them 24 hours in advance with reminders, when asked by the encourager. If in school, assist by leading clients from the classrooms to our office and back.

Primary strengths and abilities required:

Committed to portraying the 4 pillars of this ministry with love and grace: identity, purpose, truth, and hope. Maintain confidentiality with clients, team, and ministry. Great listener and passionate about others being able to live life healed. Must have completed personal care sessions in the LNG program and training. Exuberates unconditional love and compassion for people and able to accept them as they are. Understand and practices safe boundaries. Creative teaching skills and conveys passion. Works well with a team while also able to perform independent tasks. Subscribes to the by-laws and statement of faith by the organization. Must be organized and have the ability to perform a variety of diverse tasks. Must possess excellent verbal and body language communication skills. Personable and Professional. No degree required, but life experience and use of technology is required. Training is available.

General Information:

Must commit to the same day and times each week for consistency with clients. May volunteer more hours and 1-5 days per week. Hours: 4+ (or as discussed during interview) Flexibility in hours will be necessary at times to meet staffing needs.

Love N Grace Healing Centers empowers children and adults to become independent and self-sufficient in life, family, at work, school, and in society. Teaching individuals their identity and purpose through truth so they will live in hope. In 2023, over $200,000 in scholarships were awarded to adults and children to overcome life's hurts.

This year we are strategically growing private sessions, while adding fee-based group services to a broader audience. We are looking for board members that can help us reach more individuals in need who are healing from trauma.

Qualifications:

Passion for seeing people live life healed with the assistance of our program Experience in non-profit leadership and management Able to share your expertise while working with others to come to team solutions Experience in networking, fundraising, and/or grant-writing Participation in other groups where you can network is a plus Willing to experience and learn about the Love N Grace program

This Muskegon non-profit organization was founded in 2017. We have been caring for people since 2010.
