NOTE: This project is outside of the Community Impact Day hours to accommodate the same hours the build team will be on-site. Participants are still part of Community Impact Day and will enjoy the same accommodations as other sites.


Construction tasks may include: Deconstruction Framing, Painting, Trim, Carpentry, Exterior Trim, Siding, Final Details, Landscaping

About:  Habitat for Humanity Northern Muskegon is a branch of Habitat Kent, a Housing/Shelter non-profit and serves over 450 people annually. Habitat Kent builds high-quality, energy efficient homes that remain owner-owned and affordable for generations. They offer a variety home styles that range from single-family standalone homes, attached single family, condos and rehabs. Habitat Kent supports a year-round building program and has multiple volunteer opportunities most days of the week between construction sites, the ReStore store, and community events.

It has different flowering plants each week throughout the warmer months. Throughout the year the garden is host to special events, photography shoots, and is a quiet place for the public to enjoy and unwind.
