
Volunteers needed to support a last-minute effort to bring free COVID-19 testing to anyone who wants it. The event is this weekend and will be staged in the Oakridge High School & Middle School Parking Lots.
Testing will be done by the Michigan National Guard and is free to the resident. No doctor's note or symptoms required.
Volunteers are needed for the following opportunities: traffic control and paperwork assistant
Traffic Control: 6 traffic control volunteers will be stationed along to drive up paths to support the flow of traffic and provide direction to residents as they drive up for testing.
Paperwork Assistant: 6 individuals are needed to assist residents with filling out paperwork required to properly document the materials for testing and to ensure the speed and accuracy of the effort.
In addition, volunteers will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to get a free COVID test.
Shifts are:
Friday 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Saturday 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Saturday 11:45 AM - 3:30 PM
