Lake Hawks in Flight Foundation

Mission: To empower youth, fostering community engagement, and creating pathways for positive change in Muskegon County through mentorship, education, and proactive initiatives.

Lake Hawks in Flight is the nonprofit arm of the West Michigan Lake Hawks, a professional basketball team in Muskegon, Michigan. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of local youth and the broader community by promoting unity, providing opportunities for growth, and addressing critical social issues.

We’re doing everything we can to to make a difference in the lives of our youth. Our initiatives include:

• Youth Mentorship and Activities: We host free basketball clinics, fishing weekends, and other engaging events that encourage skill development and positive relationships among youth in Muskegon County.
• Violence Prevention: Collaborating with community organizations, we work to reduce violence in our neighborhoods by promoting proactive solutions and fostering unity.

Through these initiatives, Lake Hawks in Flight aims to uplift and transform lives, creating a stronger, more connected community.
