Who We Are

Mission: To increase awareness and act to promote and support services to eradicate homelessness in Muskegon County.

The Muskegon County Homeless Continuum of Care Network (MCHCCN) is a collaborative and coordinating system that intends to end homelessness in Muskegon County. This organization unites agencies, government entities, foundations, and funding groups to collaboratively eradicate homelessness.

What We Do

We advocate for individuals who are homeless or at risk, survey homelessness needs in Muskegon County, and expand resource coordination locally and through state and federal support. Key initiatives include identifying and backing various housing solutions, such as shelters, transitional housing, permanent housing, supportive housing, and utilizing available private housing.

The MCHCCN does not favor one membership over another and is a system which captures the needs and perspectives of all of its members in order to identify the gaps to preventing and ending homelessness in our community. MCHCCN operates in accordance with its By-Laws and the standards developed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Michigan State Housing and Development Authority (MSHDA).
