Parties in the Park

Mission: To create a sense of community and appreciation for Muskegon’s Downtown through a family-oriented social event. Sponsored by a variety of Muskegon County not-for-profit groups, the proceeds from the Parties either make physical enhancements or quality of life improvements for the whole community.

Parties in the Park, working with local non-profit organizations, is designed to promote community by offering an opportunity to bring people together to enjoy free entertainment and support local food and beverage vendors. Proceeds from the Parties go to the sponsoring non-profit to be reinvested in our community.

The Party takes place during the summer months on most Fridays at Hackley Park, located in downtown Muskegon. (Check the Event page for specific dates.) The Party goes from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and is free to attend. There are local food vendors and domestic and local craft beers, as well as other adult beverages offered for purchase.

It is designed to be a family-oriented event. There is a dedicated Kids’ Zone with games and activities geared for our younger patrons.

The entertainment provided spans a variety of genres. Parties in the Park has had local, regional and nationally known artists.
