Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore Unity Festival Parking Lot Crew Volunteers

Description

Unity Festival Parking Lot Volunteer Sign-Up

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore! We are grateful for your willingness to serve alongside us during Unity Festival. Your time and support help create more opportunities for local youth and strengthen the work of the Club throughout our community.

The volunteer location is 900 W. Western Ave., Muskegon, MI.

Volunteers will assist Boys & Girls Club staff with safely directing vehicles into the parking lot, identifying available parking spaces, helping keep an accurate count as the lot fills, and providing a welcoming experience for guests. Boys & Girls Club staff will be responsible for collecting parking fees, answering questions, and managing all event operations. Volunteers are not expected to collect payments or handle guest concerns.

Volunteer shifts are staffed with two (2) volunteers per shift. If a shift reaches capacity, you will be notified.

Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled volunteer shift to check in with Boys & Girls Club staff. Upon arrival, staff will direct volunteers where to park. Please look for staff wearing a Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore staff shirt. During check-in, you will receive a volunteer lanyard and any final instructions before your shift begins. Please feel free to bring a comfy chair as well. Limited chairs will be provided.

Our parking lot has a maximum capacity of 100 parking spaces. Once all parking spaces have been sold, the lot will close for the remainder of the event. If the lot reaches capacity before your scheduled volunteer shift begins, you will be notified if your shift is no longer needed.

This volunteer opportunity takes place outdoors. Please dress comfortably for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle to help you stay hydrated throughout your shift.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or another approved adult throughout their volunteer shift.

Funds raised through the Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore parking lot help support Club programs, experiences, and opportunities that empower local youth to reach their full potential.

Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us. We look forward to volunteering alongside you!
