United Way of the Lakeshore is assisting Muskegon Public Heath & Muskegon Rotary Club with volunteer recruitment for the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Hackley Urgent Care on Clinton Street in Muskegon. 

What: 

We are in need of volunteers to assist /with tasks like greeting and checking in patients for the vaccine and other varied non-skilled tasks as needed. 

Volunteers will be the first people to greet individuals as they arrive at the clinic. One volunteer will be at the door checking that the person is on the list for that day to receive the vaccine and direct them to a table where our second volunteer will be located. The second volunteer will give 2 forms to be filled out: 

1. Health Insurance
2. COVID Related Pre-Screening Questions

Requirements: 

1. Volunteers must fill out a HIPAA Form before volunteering
2. Volunteers must also fill out a confidentiality form before beginning
3. There will be standing during this job. Volunteers can rotate between the standing position (first greeter) and the seated check-in position throughout volunteering. Keep in mind that these are three-hour shifts, even with rotation and breaks you may be on your feet for a long period of time. 
4. We want everyone to feel as safe and comfortable as possible. Please consider your health, age, and your loved ones who may be immunocompromised that you see on a daily basis. All volunteers will be wearing masks and following COVID safe practices during volunteering.
