Have Fun This Year At Pride With United Way! 

Help us meet the community and ensure our programs reach our local neighbors! Meet new people, have a blast at Lakeshore community events, and make an impact while doing it.

United Way of the Lakeshore is looking for volunteers who will help host community outreach booths at local community resource fairs and festivals. Greet visitors as they arrive at your table, give out United Way “swag”, help sign up families for programs like the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and Volunteer Center, answer why you LIVE UNITED and hand out helpful materials.

Time Commitment: 2 Hours

Volunteer Qualifications: Volunteers may have to stand for long periods of time depending on how busy the event is. Typically, a chair is provided at the events. Volunteers will also be trained before an event on brief program highlights and registration information.

Special Notes: 

Make sure you stay hydrated. Please bring a water bottle and sunscreen for the event. 

We will ask that we can talk you through our materials before your shift.
