Join the Muskegon Conservation District in a fun filled day of cleaning up a local water way! The Muskegon Conservation District wants to partner with YOU to clean up Ryerson Creek on July 8, 2023 from 9:00 am- 1:00 pm.
Volunteers will meet at the Smith Ryerson Center (650 Wood St, Muskegon MI 49442) and will disperse in teams to clean up trash in the stream from Getty St to Muskegon Lake!
All volunteers will be treated to lunch and snacks at the end of the day. Some boots and waders will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your own. Trash gathering materials are all provided as well as gloves! If you have a kayak and want to get into the deeper parts of the creek, please bring it along (at your own discretion. MCD is not liable for any personal materials)! We don't want to miss any piece of trash!
