Represent the Great Start Parent Coalition and Read early. Read often. at an information table for families attending Family Night at Nelson Elementary School.

• Give away free books
• Share information about resources for families with young children
• Enroll families in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program
• Sign families up for the Great Start Newsletters
• Share posters and yard signs to promote the Read early. Read often. message. 

Arrange a meeting with Allison or Cheryl ahead of time to get a 15 to 30-minute orientation and collect needed supplies.

Arrive at site 15-30 minutes before shift starts to set up.  

Take the initiative to interact with the public at the event if families don't approach your table on their own.
