Description

Story:

A year and half ago I started experiencing symptoms related to a currently undiagnosed chronic illness. The symptoms I have made me be unable to work for several months, so my boyfriend Ryan is our only income. We are a blended family and regularly have all our children in the home together. Because of how much my boyfriend makes we currently do not qualify for SNAP and most of our income goes to pay for basic needs. We use community pantries when needed but cannot afford to save any money at this time or splurge on extras. We would love to be able to make Christmas happen for our family this year but are unsure how we will make that happen with all the stress and financial problems we have right now. When I was a kid, my family got to adopt a family and make Christmas happen for a family that needed some extra help. Right now, my family is in need of some extra help from our community. In the future I would love to be able to give back again and support an organization to help other families in our city.
